  • 4 ounces apple cored and peeled (about 1/2 apple)
  • 8 ounces chicken breast

  • Core and peel one apple. This recipe calls for about half of an apple. I usually use Red Delicious apples but any variety will work well.
  • Thinly slice chicken breast.
  • Put cored and peel apple slices in a pot covered in water and boil for 20 minutes.
  • In a separate pot at the same time, put thinly sliced chicken breast submerged in water and boil for 30 minutes.
  • Allow apples and chicken to cool.
  • Put apples and chicken in blender or food processor along with 2/3 cups of water. Use liquid chicken was boiling in. Blend until smooth.
  • Substitute water for breast milk or formula if preferred.
  • Store after preparing or serve immediately. If storing in fridge use within 3 days. If freezing, use within 2 months. Recommend freezing in ice cube portions and thaw out by defrosting in microwave or by placing cubes in fridge one day before use.
