Core and peel one apple. This recipe calls for about half of an apple. I usually use Red Delicious apples but any variety will work well.
Thinly slice chicken breast.
Put cored and peel apple slices in a pot covered in water and boil for 20 minutes.
In a separate pot at the same time, put thinly sliced chicken breast submerged in water and boil for 30 minutes.
Allow apples and chicken to cool.
Put apples and chicken in blender or food processor along with 2/3 cups of water. Use liquid chicken was boiling in. Blend until smooth.
Substitute water for breast milk or formula if preferred.
Store after preparing or serve immediately. If storing in fridge use within 3 days. If freezing, use within 2 months. Recommend freezing in ice cube portions and thaw out by defrosting in microwave or by placing cubes in fridge one day before use.
